Levy Restaurants and the Speedway have rolled out some pretty awesome food offerings for the 2017 race season starting with the Kobalt 400. Larry Ferguson, Levy Restaurant's Sr. Director of Operations, says that there are plenty of traditional menu items available for race fans at Las Vegas Motor Speedway but there are a few notable "must try" selections!
Backstretch Burnt End BBQ Beef Brisket Nachos
Larry told me that since I'm a barbecue guy I would love the Backstrecth Burnt End BBQ Beef Brisket Nachos! I said, "What - Beef Brisket... on NACHOS?" His response, "Yes, I know, butttttttttttttttttt.... it's BBQ, Brisket... Burnt Ends... Toppings.... on NACHOS!"
These aint your normal nachos for sure! Crispy Nacho Chips topped with Nacho Cheese, flavor packed Brisket Burnt End pieces, Shredded lettuce, Red Salsa, Deep Fried Jalapeno pieces (We call ‘em hubcaps!!!), and a Sour Cream drizzle to bring it home.
And in case you're not a BBQ guru - Burnt Ends are not a bad thing... They are a highly desired piece of BBQ greatness!
Speedway Smokin Hot Chicken Sandwich
Over the years "Smokin' Hot" has been associated with NASCAR and Nashville. It may be due to the opening invocation prior to a race in the Music City which included a shout out to "my Smoking Hot Wife!" Or, it just may be a simple as the fact that a Hot Chicken sandwich makes for great eating.
The Speedway Smokin Hot Chicken Sandwich is a juicy Breaded Chicken Breast drenched in Levy's Special Version of Nashville Hot Sauce! It's topped with homemade Bread and Butter Pickles, honey butter, and served on a Corn Dusted Kaiser Roll!
Finish Line Fish Tacos
The Finish Line Fish Tacos are a seafood and taco lovers dream! Let's bring this article around turn four to the checkered flag with the flavor of Alaskan Beer Battered Cod, wrapped in a soft Flour Tortilla accompanied with Red Cabbage and smothered in Tapito Tarter Sauce!
