Cindy’s Old Fashioned

CINDY’S OLD FASHIONED – Cindy is a longtime friend of from high school and college… and – She makes one heck of an Old Fashioned! Did we mention that she  also takes a great picture! I see mixed drink photography as the next big growth industry. Or, I just may be wanting a classic Old Fashioned. Enjoy your beverage!

Making Cindy’s Old Fashioned

1 tsp sugar
Splash of water
2 dashes bitters
Cherry wedge
Orange wedge
2 oz of good bourbon
Ice & stir
Might be tastier to make a simple syrup 1st & then mix with the bitters.

Mix 1 tsp sugar, splash of water & 2 dashes bitters in the bottom of an old fashioned glass. Add a cherry & an orange wedge & muddle in the bottom of the glass. Pour in 2 oz of good bourbon fill with ice & stir. Garnish with a cherry & an orange wedge.
