Grilled Horseradish Steaks

Horseradish Steaks

I love a good steak. I also love some heat. What better way to combine flavors than beef and something spicy? Why not some horseradish?

Combine a few simple ingredients together for this hearty steak marinade that packs a bit of a punch. Feel free to adjust the ingredients as needed – it’s OK! Not everyone is a horseradish fan. Cut the amount of horseradish back to 1/2 tablespoon or less for a hint of the flavor an only a sneaky bit of added heat!

Horseradish Steaks

  • 2 large, tender steaks
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 3-4 tablespoons yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish (less if desired)
  • Dashes of Salt and Pepper

Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients (except for the steak) in a glass bowl. Then add in the steaks, cover and marinate for a couple of hours. Grill the steaks to perfection as you normally would turning as few times as possible. Remove from heat when done and allow to rest for several minutes before serving.

The Dip!

There’s nothing wrong with a bonus recipe! Make a slightly thicker version with extra sour cream and use it as a tangy dipping sauce for beef kabobs!
